THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME
The quality of time in April is exceedingly intense and full of surprises. Expect the unexpected! Two important constellations will shape astrological events this month: a Solar Eclipse in Aries on April 8 and the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus from April 15 to 26. Potent processes that require a lot of attention will kick off this month.
Right at the beginning of the month, on April 2, Mercury turns retrograde in Aries. Take great care when signing contracts and other consequential agreements until the end of the month. Mercury ends its retrograde phase on April 25.
Venus in Pisces reaches a conjunction with Neptune on April 3. The longing for an ideal world is palpable, but so is the discrepancy between desire and reality. Two days later, Venus enters Aries, and the Aries Sun conjoins the Moon's Node. Some people now feel the urge for an adventure. Check everything well before you act. Things could subsequently develop an unexpected momentum of their own.
On April 8, the New Moon in Aries coincides with a total Solar Eclipse. The eclipse is part of Saros cycle 139 and is visible in Mexico, Central and North America, and parts of Canada. It is conjunct Chiron. During this time, Mars and Saturn form a conjunction in Pisces, which is exact on April 10.
The events in the days surrounding the eclipse could be demanding and require our full attention. The dynamics of an eclipse usually bring something to the fore that previously lay unrecognized in the shadows. Due to the connection of the eclipse with Chiron, the quality of time tells of powerlessness and hurt but also of daring to make a new start despite obstacles.
If you face difficult experiences or feelings, try not to fall into blind actionism, but first, find out what you can do to release the emotional tension. The key to this is to trust in your strength. If you are among the lucky ones who experience an unexpected and promising breakthrough during this time, you should not hesitate but set off courageously and confidently for new shores.

On April 12, the Aries Sun conjuncts Mercury. On the 15th, retrograde Mercury reaches Chiron and thus the position of the earlier eclipse. The events of the past few days can now be better understood.
A few days later, on April 19, Mercury and Venus meet in conjunction, flanked by the Moon's Node and Chiron. Even those who experienced the events of the eclipse as challenging can now feel optimistic again. The Sun enters Taurus on the same day.
One of this year's most outstanding and promising constellations is the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, which becomes exact on April 21. Venus is then exactly conjunct Chiron, and the Sun squares Pluto in Aquarius.
In principle, astrologers consider the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction that occurs every fourteen years positive, even if the mighty tension that sometimes accompanies it can feel uncomfortable. Something radically new wants to take shape during this time. As Pluto is also part of this field, it may well be that some of the events that can appear out of nowhere at this time have a dynamic that is difficult to control.
The conjunction, with its strong emphasis on the qualities of Taurus and Aquarius, focuses on topics such as money and possessions, the environment and agriculture, and the tension between technology and nature. In these areas, we can expect innovations, upheavals, and corrections that will keep us busy for a long time. However, the revolutionary potential of the constellation can also show itself in political upheavals or eruptive social developments.
In any case, it is a time in which some things could change very quickly. If you already know in which direction you wish to develop, you should take advantage of this time. The chances are good for creative breakthroughs or radical new beginnings but also for breaking free from obstructive circumstances and surpassing yourself.
The Scorpio Full Moon on April 24 is in tension with Pluto (2° orb). The emotional intensity brings depth and determination to the charged atmosphere of these days. Practice commitment and acceptance because you can no longer stop the impending changes. Mars arrives in conjunction with Neptune on April 29, entering Aries a day later. Venus reaches Taurus on the 29th. The quality of time tells of a transition into a new form, like shedding your old skin.

Aries and Taurus, with the opposite signs of Libra and Scorpio, are the primary focus of powerful astrological events this month.
