The year 2023 is slowly drawing to a close. It has been a challenging year that brought many conflicts. We need to find viable answers to the many disruptions and upheavals this significant period of change brings with it.

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME
Mercury enters Capricorn on December 1. You can now take a sober and realistic approach to many things. A detached view is of advantage over the next few days, as Venus in the last degree of Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn on December 3 before reaching Scorpio a day later. Feelings could be passionate at this time. Venus trines Saturn in Pisces on December 5. The intensity of this time not only promises drama but is also excellent for creative activities.
On December 8, Mercury forms a trine with Jupiter in Taurus. The quality of time is favorable for serious and factual discussions. Topics such as the environment and natural resources could be in focus. It's also a good time for trade of any kind. As Mercury is about to turn retrograde and is already moving quite slowly, the trine will last a few days.
Venus is in opposition to Jupiter on December 10. That is a marvelous time for lovers. There could also be other fortunate developments. The subsequent Sagittarius New Moon on December 13 puts the crowning glory on this bright quality of time. The confident atmosphere enables you to define new goals and regain your courage. Mercury turns retrograde at the New Moon and is again trine Jupiter on December 18. The time is still conducive to negotiations and talks. However, if possible, do not sign contracts until the beginning of January, when Mercury is direct again.
On December 22, the Sun enters Capricorn. It immediately conjuncts Mercury, which moves back into Sagittarius a day later. Venus is in opposition to Uranus (exact on December 21). You are now ready for something new, and many an adventure could be tempting. However, the solstice invites us to celebrate the birth of light in silence. That could be an exceptionally intense and rewarding experience this year.
The days of Christmas have an auspicious quality of time this year. On December 25, Venus trines Neptune. During the Cancer Full Moon on December 27, the Sun is trine Jupiter. Compassion is high, and love could remind us that we all belong to the one humanity. We can offer comfort where necessary. Reflection is more than just a buzzword these days.
However, with Mercury and Mars squaring Neptune on December 27 and 28, communication problems could arise here and there. Kindly and firmly reject invitations to argue, and try to make room for silence now and again. Energy levels could be low. Allow yourself a breather.
Venus enters Sagittarius on December 29, and Jupiter ends its retrograde motion phase on the 31st. The optimistic mood will continue towards the end of the year. Let's hope it also radiates into the new year.
