This is the monthly newsletter from Astrodienst with a short overview of the current quality of time and news from our website www.astro.com.

September's newsletter is about changes in direction, material needs, a tired Mars, strong women, and diplomatic efforts. It is also about "I" and "you" and successful relationships.

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME

If the celestial bodies were actors and actresses, the events of the next four weeks most likely compare to a chamber theater or auteur movie: There is uncommonly little happening. Fewer aspects than usual appear, and tense ones are rare. The month of September, therefore, offers space for reflection and reorientation. Use the time to tidy up, cultivate relationships, and put yourself in order.

Two planets change direction on September 4: Jupiter in Taurus begins its retrograde motion (until the end of the year), and Venus in Leo becomes direct again. While the two are considered the "lesser" and the "greater" fortunes, they tell a story of divergent needs during this time. After a rather introverted phase, Venus greatly desires adventure and may be impatient to fulfill her wishes. On the other hand, Jupiter now has very little desire to expose itself and avoids risks.

Also, on the 4th, Virgo Mercury is trine Jupiter. The Sun conjoins Mercury on the 6th and trines Jupiter on the 8th. Now material and sensual needs are in the foreground and, with them, the theme of wealth and prosperity and their preservation.

September 15 brings a New Moon in Virgo opposite Neptune in Pisces. The opposition of the Moon and Neptune becomes exact on the same day, and the Sun opposes Neptune on September 19. The New Moon turns our focus to the poorest and weakest. Mirroring the theme of the previous days, it may now be about a more equitable distribution of wealth.

Mercury turns direct on the day of the New Moon, and the Sun forms a trine to Uranus on September 16. There is a lot of calculating now and occasionally even settling accounts. Depending on the point of view, the results of the calculations can differ considerably, which could lead to disputes here and there, especially if there is no distinction between facts and beliefs.

September 23 is this year's autumn equinox when the Sun enters Libra. Before that, on September 21, it trines Pluto, charging itself with authority. Also, on the 23rd, Leo-Venus trines Chiron in Aries, and Mars is involved in the action by opposing Chiron (exactly on the 24th).

A time of diplomatic solutions may now begin. Mars, the archetypal warrior, feels drained and tired, which poses an opportunity to renegotiate old conflicts as well. Some powerful women may feel called to take the lead now.

There is a Full Moon in Aries on September 29, Venus squares Uranus, and Mercury makes a trine to the latter (exactly on September 30). It's a creative time that can also bring new impetus to relationships. Those who dare to break new ground at this time can almost exclusively win.

THE PERSONAL QUALITY OF TIME

"Through the Thou a person becomes I," said philosopher Martin Buber. This statement is especially true this month, even if you are not in a relationship. The current quality of time encourages you to look at your behavior in relationships. However, think now not just about the "you" but about your "I." Knowing yourself in depth creates a solid basis for relationship skills. Knowing yourself also means that you can say "yes" or "no" with complete freedom - one of the prerequisites to a successful relationship.
