Frequently asked questions
My Astro > User Profile
-
"My Astro" is your data center. There you can find your registered user data, your stored Astro Data and your personal preferences. You can manage your purchased charts and subscriptions there as well.
-
A user profile is required to create and display a horoscope. It is free of charge and without any obligations. You will get access to the large selection of free horoscope interpretations and calculations.
You need a valid email address to register. The user profile and the stored birth data can be deleted at any time.
You can log in to your user profile from any device, and store up to 100 Astro data (birth dates) free of charge.
Your data will be stored securely and not be passed on to third parties. This includes both your personal data and the birth data you have entered. If you have any questions about data security, please read our Privacy Policy.
Where can I find my user profile?
Access to your data can be found under My Astro. On desktop computers, please click on My Astro in the upper right corner and then on "User Profile". On mobile devices, please click first on the menu button in the right corner, then on My Astro and "User Profile". This direct link will also take you to "My Astro".
Why do I need to register with my e-mail address?
The reasons why we use e-mail as an identifier for a user profile are twofold:
a) E-mail addresses are unique. There are no identical ones for different people. And users don't have to memorise names under which they registered; everybody should remember their e-mail address though.
b) If you forget your astro.com password, you can request an e-mail with a link for resetting your password. For this, the e-mail address should be real.
With the deletion of your e-mail address you will delete your entire profile. Why are there no more anonymous guest profiles?
Since February 2024, a user profile is required to create and display a horoscope. The user profile is free of charge and free of any obligation.
Registering a profile with your name, email, country and language preference is a one-off process that can be completed quickly. You can then log in from any device and have the stored birth data (up to 100 data records) available everywhere.
The display of non-personalized static content, such as in the "Astrology Knowledge" section, is still possible without logging in or registering.
Your data will be stored securely and not be passed on to third parties. If you have any questions about data security, please read the Astrodienst Privacy Policy.
How can I delete my 'account' or 'user profile'?
You can delete your user profile on the "User data" page: Select "My Astro -> User profile" (top or side navigation) and then on the link "User data". On the following page, click on the button Delete profile and all natal data. You have to confirm this action by entering your password so that someone does not "accidentally" delete their entire profile.
How can I delete my e-mail from your mailing list?
Astrodienst sends a monthly newsletter to registered users of astro.com. If you do not wish to receive these e-mails, you can scroll to the very bottom of the newsletter to find a link that takes you to the 'unsubscribe' page at www.astro.com. Simply enter the security code in the respective field and click the button 'Unsubscribe from the Astrodienst newsletter'.
E-mails concerning orders or other administrative contacts are, of course, excluded from unsubscribing. You will still receive those. Will a profile remain stored forever?
No. When a registered profile has not been visited for more than ten years , it is automatically deleted. Anonymous guest profiles, which have no registered email address, are deleted automatically after one year after the last visit to them.
